About the Event
Hosted by the Accounting Students of Kwantlen (ASK), the ASK Ice Cream Social is a refreshing summer networking event designed to bring together aspiring accountants, industry professionals, and faculty members in a fun, semi-formal setting.

This event kicks off with an engaging Networking Tips Session (1:00–2:00 PM) led by Vanessa Leal, Student Success Coach, and Alex Modares, Work-Integrated Learning Coordinator at the Melville School of Business. Attendees will then enjoy open networking over delicious, free ice cream (2:00–4:00 PM) — the perfect way to connect with professionals in both public practice and industry, as well as fellow accounting students.
Whether you're exploring career paths, preparing for recruitment, or simply building your network, this is a semi-formal, low-pressure space to learn and grow.
